Join Westcountry Practice as a self-employed practitioner. If you work with children and young people on a one-to-one basis or in very small groups, we would love to talk to you about joining our team. Contact Us for more information. We are looking for counsellors, tutors and people to run various children’s groups and activity classes. At present, we offer two different types of tuition, provided by Westcountry Tuition and Westcountry SEN.
Perhaps you have your own private practice somewhere and would like to work some additional hours in Shaftesbury, Dorset. Maybe you already work with children and adults but would like to move to a purpose designed children’s centre? Alternatively, you may be just starting out and would like the structure and support that Westcountry Practice can offer new practitioners. Whatever your professional needs, we can accommodate the right practitioners and we are always on the lookout for suitable additions to our expanding team.
Our 6 rooms are fully furnished. Whilst we have some scope to move small furniture such as chairs and desks in and out, a lot of fixtures are permanent, although all rooms are designed for multiple use.
All practitioners will need an enhanced DBS check. If you do not have one, don’t worry we can process one for you.
