Westcountry Practice provides Children’s Tuition Services in the heart of Shaftesbury, Dorset. It was created in 2020 due to the need for a children’s center, where qualified professionals (such as private tutors and child counselors) could work with children, in a purpose-designed environment.

Westcountry Tuition provides children’s tuition services for children and young people of all abilities. We specialize in entrance exams, IGCSEs / GCSEs, A levels, and undergraduate subjects. The range of subjects we cover is vast including, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Latin, Computer programming and many more.
Catering to children and young people from 0-to 25 years old, Westcountry Practice is a purpose-designed education, child counseling, and Wellbeing Centre. We ensure that all professionals that work as part of Westcountry Practice are qualified and pass all relevant police checks (Enhanced DBS) to work with children and young people.
Westcountry SEN works with mainstream children who need additional support. This tuition service has a strong focus on dyslexia and difficulties with Maths and Literacy. They work with children and young people of all ages, tutoring from primary and prep school all the way through to children who need help with their GCSEs.
There are no judgments regarding a child and young person’s place of education or educational history (e.g. homeschooled, state/privately educated, expelled, excluded, diagnosed with educational difficulty, mental health diagnosis, dyslexia, dyscalculia). All children, young people, and their families are valued and respected equally when undertaking their tuition.
