Kids Origami

Origami is an ancient art that goes back hundreds of years. Children generally love the feel of folding the paper and making it come alive. When they can learn the steps and fold the paper from memory, for many children it becomes a lifelong party trick.  But did you know, origami enhances children in many ways.

  • Building problem solving capabilities
  • Helps with cognitive skills
  • Develops maths skills relating to shape and form
  • Helps children relax
  • Enhances a feeling of well-being

This craft morning is for groups of 6 children. The groups have been kept small to ensure that every child can gain the origami skills and feel confident. Whether it’s making a bird, a butterfly, flower, intricate box or other amazing origami designs, your child will be coming home with lots of exciting skills to show you and their friends.

For children aged 7-12 years.

Please contact us for more information and to find out if this craft group is suitable for your child.
