Tuition is one of the key services offered by Westcountry Practice. We help children have better academic lives and opportunities. Moreover, We provide two different types of tutoring.
Counselling
Our counselling and therapy services are for children and young people aged 6-25 yrs. Moreover, We have qualified child therapists working throughout the week.
Play Therapy
Services offered by Westcountry Practice include various children’s clubs as well as activity groups running during the school holidays and on some weekends. Activities and clubs are tailored to specific ages.
Dyslexia Assessments
If you feel you or your child is struggling with reading, spelling or writing, a comprehensive dyslexia assessment helps identify whether this is due to dyslexia and provides insights to help understand a person’s strengths and weaknesses.

I'm not sure what help my child needs?
It can be difficult to know what help your child might need. Perhaps your child is acting differently or is unhappy and you don't know where to start. To help you get started, we offer a free no-obligation consultation to help signpost you to what service could help. If we don't have the right practitioner for you, we can point you to someone who will be able to help.
Do I have to make an appointment?
Yes, all our services are appointment only. You can use the contact form to get in touch or give us a call and we will schedule an appointment for you.
How much does it cost and how do I pay?
Each professional or company that works at Westcountry Practice has their own charges and prices. If you click on the 'read more' section in the What We Do section and services section, you should find the information you are looking for. If not, give us a call and we give you the information you need.
Can you also work remotely or online?
Each service has its own policy about being able to work online. A lot of the tutoring services work remotely and online, as do some of the counselling services. For a complete list of who can work remotely, give our receptionist a call on 01747 359054 and we can give you the complete list.
